I’ve been a programmer on the GEO-SLOPE team since shortly after version 3 was released, around 1995.  My main interest is in the user interface. 

It makes me beam every time I hear someone exclaim about how easy it is to work with GeoStudio. It makes me cringe every time I see someone struggling.

What I Do

My main job is in designing and implementing GeoStudio’s user interface–how it looks, how you interact with it.

I also do most of the work on our web site.

What I Don’t Do

I’m not an engineer!  I won’t (and can’t!) talk about how to model or when to use one material model over another. What I can (and will) give you is an insider’s look at the GeoStudio interface.

What I Do For Fun

Calgary is a great place for folks like me who love the outdoors!  Hiking, biking, canoeing, cross-country skiing (and my family!) take my mind off computers evenings and weekends and make the long winters fun.  At lunch a good game of poker or backgammon does the trick too.
